Use and function: To contain water

Description: A large vessel with sponge-like surfaces to keep the contents cool. They usually have two handles for easy handling and a decoration in iron oxide or manganese, consisting of very thick, undulating, vertical or horizontal lines. In this case it forms a composition of straight and curved lines. The handles are ribbed, in the old-fashioned manner.

State of preservation: Incomplete weight. The handle, part of the rim and the upper third of the body are preserved.

Restoration: Restored by Raquel Santamaria between November and December 2023.
