Allow me to introduce myself: I am Juan de Cereceda y Carrascosa, former commander of the Order of Calatrava, an order that for four centuries left its mark on this Murcian land.

The passage of time has transformed and moulded its streets, but its most deeply-rooted tradition is still alive: the Santa Cruz festivities. Year after year, the locals pay homage to their patron in festivities that revolve around an ancient legend.
