He grew up beforre him like a tender shoot, like a root out of dry ground. He has no form or majesty to attact us, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, familiar with suffering. Like one from whom people hide their faces, he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
