Portitxol Bay

Visitors arrive at the Creu del Portitxol, a calm corner of the coast that served as a natural anchorage in ancient times. However, once they lift their gaze, it will be hard to look away from the striking sight of the stranded barge just offshore: Portitxol Island — a small islet about 300 meters in diameter, once inhabited and where several burials have been discovered.
