Cap de la Nau
Ambolo ViewpointFrom the Ambolo Viewpoint, we observe a rugged and jagged coastline, where coves and cliffs alternate as they meet the sea. Facing east, from Ambolo we can enjoy the panoramic view of the Cap de la Nau, crowned by its lighthouse. To the south, the elongated silhouette (55 m) of Ambolo Island or the Islet of the Discoverer comes into view, separated from the mainland by a narrow channel. In the mid-16th century, in order to strengthen and organize coastal defenses against attacks from North African pirates, the authorities built the Ambolo Watchtower.
