LA NAVA VIEWPOINT

From the Mirador de la Nava unfolds a spectacular view of the Genal Valley and the Ronda mountains, framed by the protected surroundings of the Sierra de las Nieves. Located along the track to Los Quejigales, it has recently been equipped with parking areas to facilitate access for hikers and visitors.

At an altitude of around 700–800 m, the viewpoint offers a panorama that blends mountains and forests: holm oaks, chestnut groves, and Spanish firs spread across gentle hills, with peaks such as Alcojona and Abanto rising in the distance. Its stone staircase invites visitors to pause, enjoy the scenery, and breathe the pure air of the ecological reserve.

An ideal place to capture the chromatic contrasts: from the dark Mediterranean green emerge golden tones in autumn, creating the perfect backdrop to observe birds of prey and the typical fauna of the Sierra. The Mirador de la Nava is a gateway to natural immensity, a space that connects visitors with the ecological richness of Parauta and its region.
