EL CAUCÓN VIEWPOINT

The Luis Ceballos Viewpoint, also known as Caucón Viewpoint, is one of the most remarkable natural balconies in the Sierra de las Nieves National Park, near Yunquera (Málaga). From this spot, visitors enjoy breathtaking views over the Guadalhorce Valley, the Spanish fir forests, and surrounding ranges such as Sierra Cabrilla and Prieta.
Built on top of a hidden water reservoir used for firefighting, it is named after botanist Luis Ceballos, a notable researcher of Málaga’s flora.
Several hiking trails start here, leading to iconic landmarks like the Peñón de los Enamorados and the Tajo de la Caína, offering visitors the chance to explore the park’s stunning landscapes and rich biodiversity.
