Source of the Jorox River

The Jorox River originates from a spring near the hamlet of Jorox, within the municipality of Alozaina. This spring emerges beneath the bridge on the road that connects Alozaina with Yunquera. The spring’s water is distributed through a system of irrigation channels, historically used to power flour and olive-oil mills and to irrigate terraced plots with fruit orchards.
