Urios Park

In the “Urios” park there used to be a brickyard, owned by Tomás Abril González, known in Buñol as “Tío Urios”. This small enterprise was family-run by him and his children.

At the brickyard they produced bricks for the manufacturing of partition walls, bardos and roof-tiles. The clay material they used was extracted from a small quarry in La Cabrera and another in Alborache.

The brick manufacturing process consisted of several phases and during the final phase they required a firing-kiln with a large chimney. That chimney remains as the legacy of the Teixeria Urios.

From this park we can connect both to the Castle zone and to the Plaza Venta.
