Alfara's old Wash-House

The old Wash-house belongs to a time when there was no running water in the houses.

Successive restorations have allowed it to be used today.

A cleaning order was established: first the sink, the rest have been used to wash on top of the slabs. Finally they washed shoes, carpets, rags, and kitchen utensils.

The arrangement of this construction allows to see the layout of the Acequia Mayor and the Small Acequia, both continue supply water to the old Wash-house.
