Hermitage of Barraix

The Hermitage of the Sagrado Corazón is located next to the Barraix fountain known for its great health benefits and healing powers.

This religious building has rectangular plant, high facade and roof with two slopes covered with Catalan tiles.
Although it is not certain, it is believed that the construction of the building dates from 1922 (nineteen twenty-two) because of the inscription engraved on the door: “Jesús y María, 3 (three) de August, 1922 (nineteen twenty-two)”.

The ceiling is domed and illuminated by the light that crosses the four lateral windows.
