Sant Antoni Abad Parish Church
Dedicated to this Saint, the parish depended on Sagunto until 1533, when the construction of the church began. It consists of a central nave and two side naves, each with three chapels. It also includes a Communion Chapel and a Sacristy.
The total surface area of the temple is around 1,000 m², making it the fourth largest in the Camp de Morvedre region. The façade of the church is characterized by its simplicity, being plain and decorated with stone spheres.
Inside, a Renaissance decorative style can still be appreciated, although it has been altered over time by successive repairs. The side altars are Baroque.
The history of the church is closely linked to a 16th-century painting representing Our Lady of the Star, with a brief account explaining how it arrived at the Church of Gilet and how devotion to this image began to take shape.
