Huerto Cerrado de Petrés
This vegetable garden has a large perimeter wall made with a ancestral technique of mud and lime. In the corners it has small towers that give a military aspect, but what attracts the most attention is the door.
It is an item that is not in its original location. It is a portal of large keystones and blocks of stone attached in an artificial way to the wall. The door was protected with a cornice of tiles.
Based on its typology and the similar elements that exist within the town of Petrés (the old oven and the mill) its origin can be in the castle-palace Aguiló, between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
