CASA COMPUERTAS

The Casa Compuertas is the infrastructure necessary to regulate the flow of the waters of the Júcar River to the canal of the Hydroelectric Power Plant of La Recueja. This canal begins at the La Recueja Dam, from which it derives along the right bank. It has a width of 8 m and a depth of 3 m. It was inaugurated in 1921 and has a power of 3340 kW. The surplus water flows back into the Júcar. The length of the canal is 2560 m.
