SAINT BÁRBARA HERMITAGE 

The hermitage of Santa Bárbara is located at the exit from Alcublas towards Altura (CV245). It is a square-shaped hermitage with masonry walls and a hipped arab tile roof. This construction and the cult of the saint would have its origin in the 17th century. Inside there is a niche to host the image of the saint. In the 20th century it was almost completely destroyed, either by abandonment, by the effects of the Spanish Civil War or by the use of the stone and was restored in 1988. In front of the hermitage we find the water tank that bears the same name.
