The museum of Rajoleria in Paiporta

The Museu de la Rajoleria de Paiporta, located in the old brick and tile factory ‘El Pilar’, inaugurated in 1924, is a space dedicated to preserve and disseminate the industrial and ethnological heritage of the town. The factory operated until the 1990s, when it was acquired by the Town Council and rehabilitated, culminating in the opening of the museum in 2000.

The museum stands out for its 12-ton Hoffman Furnace, which is included in the National Plan for Industrial Heritage. In addition to its permanent exhibition, the museum offers an active programme with guided tours, didactic workshops, and cultural activities for all types of public, making it a living centre of culture and historical preservation.
