Church of St Andrew
This church is the result of a series of construction phases carried out between the 15th and 18th centuries. On the exterior, the walls feature limestone ashlar, concentrated on the tower and the buttresses, while the remaining sections are built from faced rubble masonry bonded with lime and sand mortar. It has a timber pitched roof covered with curved clay tiles.
The building features a single nave in the form of a Latin cross and a transept topped by a dome. The entrance portico is Neoclassical in style, and the tower—designed by the architect Lorenzo Alonso, as was the façade—also reflects the Academicist style.
The interior is organised into a three-bay nave. The first section features a stellar vault, while the remaining bays are covered by decorated groin vaults, separated by transverse arches supported by quadrangular pillars.
