During the Integral Rehabilitation Project (2005 – 2007), graffitis from the 17th and 18th centuries with reproductions of ships, possibly painted by painters or other people who would have been part of the ships’ crews, came to light....
The coffered ceilings have recovered their original appearance, as all the layers of plastic paint added over time have been removed, and to reinforce them, a new slab has been installed on the upper floor with iron beams that act as reinforcement....
