PARISH CHURCH OF SAINT PETER
The Parish Church of St. Peter is the main historical and heritage landmark of Balsa de Ves. It was built at the end of the 18th century, when the municipality still belonged to Villa de Ves, and it symbolizes the process of consolidation of the locality as its own settlement. In a popular Baroque style and with sober architecture, it follows the model of a rural church characteristic of La Manchuela of that time, with a single nave and simple structure. Over the centuries, it has been the center of the religious and social life of the village, hosting baptisms, weddings, liturgical celebrations and burials, and forming an essential part of the history and identity of the community.
