The Pottery
The beginnings are found in the Paleolithic period. There have been found objects and polished stones.
The testar de la Riera belongs to the Iberian period.
From Roman times there are pavement bricks, tiles, pottery and terra sigillata (a ceramic type).
Remains of common pottery are preserved from the Spanish-Muslim period and socarrats (clay bricks) are preserved from the Moorish era.
Between the eighteenth and nineteenth, and first half of the twentieth century the town is dedicated to the pottery.
In 1901 (nineteen an one) the activity of the rajolar begins, it was operating during the first half of the 20th (twentieth) century.
