Hermitage and Hermitage Viewpoint

The Hermitage of Our Lady of the Afflicted was probably built in the 18th century. Inside, it houses the image of the Virgin of the Afflicted, the patron saint of the town (a 17th-century image). The building has a rectangular floor plan with a single nave and chapels set between the buttresses. The most important element of the Hermitage is the façade, which belongs to a typology known as “mixtilinear”, one of the earliest examples in the entire Valencian Community.
