Hermitage of the Virgin of the Homeless

The Hermitage of the Virgen de los Desamparados is located at the top of the town, near the train tracks. The area, near the Alfara de la Baronía, is surrounded by a beautiful grove.

The hermitage was completed in 1713 (seventeen thirteen). Currently the hermitage is in good condition. Like most of the buildings in this area, it is painted white. Through a small porch we enter in this small and cozy hermitage dedicated to the Virgen de los Desamparados, the patron saint of Algimia, whose image can be seen on the altar.
