Cisterna Nova

The cistern was built to catch and store rainwater. It is a construction composed of a house with a roof, from where a staircase descends. At the bottom is the water raft. The construction of the new cistern was completed in 1854 (eighteen fifty-four), and its price was 3.091 (three thousand ninety-one) reales de vellón, a third of the municipal budget.
This construction was rehabilitated in 1998 (nineteen ninety-eight).
