Santo Espíritu Monastery

Monastery of Santo Espíritu del Monte (15th century). It was founded by the wife of Martin the Humane following the pacification of Sicily. Since then, it has had various uses, but it currently houses a museum with interesting works and documents and is above all a place for leisure, tranquility and rest. A pleasant guesthouse is kept open by the Minor Franciscans, who have arranged the surrounding area as a recreational space for the many visitors who come especially on weekends.
