Área recreativa la Fenosa

La Fenosa is a natural area located 6 km from Benaguasil located on the left bank of the Turia River, in the Retorta-Fenosa area. It is an area of ​​great beauty and environmental value, with a notable diversity of habitats and species of fauna and flora.

The Fenosa recreational area allows citizens to enjoy the waters of the Turia, as well as offering the possibility of bathing in the summer in the transparent waters of the river and spending a pleasant day on a picnic as it has tables, benches and a play area child for the little ones.

It is a very peaceful place, where the sound of birds and water is the only thing heard around, forming a haven of peace. Its surroundings are home to pine forests and bushes, as well as a rich landscape of Valencian orchards, one of the most characteristic landscapes of the Valencian province.

This natural area is protected, in accordance with Law 11/94 on Protected Natural Spaces of the Valencian Community, due to its ecological value. It allows you to enjoy the Turia River and the lush vegetation that surrounds it, constituting one of the places of greatest scenic beauty not only in Benaguasil but in the entire region.
