THE PARIS CHURCH OF SAN JUAN BAURISTA AND SANTIAGO EL MAYOR
This parish church is the architectural jewel of Casas-Ibáñez and one of the most imposing religious buildings in the province. Dedicated to Saint John the Baptist and Saint James the Greater, the church features a monumental structure that combines late Gothic and Renaissance elements, with its façade and overall volume standing out in particular. The interior houses a space of contemplation where sacred art is expressed through altarpieces and ornamental details of great historical value. For the inhabitants of the town, the church is not only a place of faith, but also a symbol of identity and patrimonial pride. Its tower dominates the town’s skyline, serving as a visual landmark and a constant reminder of the rich cultural heritage that has endured over the centuries, being the main setting for the most important religious and social traditions of the community.
