In the large lobby of the Castell, on the wall onthe left, there is an inscription from the Roman period in Latin on a stone, which is part of the main arch. This tombstone probably formed part of a monument in the Roman antiquity, architecturally reused as an ornament of the palace. The original production date of the epigraphic piece, classified as a sepulchral inscription, is between the end of the 1st century AD. C. and the beginning of II AD, when our lands were part of the Roman Empire.
