Font of San Roque
Although it is not known exactly when it was built, different studies place it between the XVII and XVIII centuries in the village.
In 1991 it was located between San Leandro and San Isidro streets, totally abandoned and in a deteriorated state. Once this street was widened, the fountain was dismantled piece by piece, restored and moved to the garden where it can be seen today.
Its construction is of stonework and has ashlars of different sizes. It has a plaque centered on it, but it is difficult to read all the sculpted letters. On the other hand, it currently has a semicircular basin, which contains the stone spout, where the water used to come out.
From the social point of view, the fountain was a meeting place. Gatherings where the different containers could be filled to bring the necessary water to the houses are the complement of games, jokes and even forbidden meetings.
