Next to the Hermitage of San Roque,
there is a large stone
with an elongated shape.

This stone was brought to the village
from a quarry.

On its four sides we can see
different things:

• A map of the municipality of Fortuna.

• The shield of Fortuna.

• A summary of when the neighbors of Fortuna
received the Carta Puebla (Town Charter) in 1628.

• And a list of all the small towns
that are in the municipality.
There are a total of 11 small towns:

◦ Los Baños,
◦ Caprés,
◦ Las Casicas,
◦ Hoya Hermosa,
◦ Fuente Blanca,
◦ La Garapacha,
◦ Peña Zafra de Abajo
