Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception

The sculpture of the Virgin represents
a pregnant woman.
It is believed to have been made by
the Spanish sculptor Alonso Cano
in the 17th century.
With the passage of time the sculpture
deteriorated and the sculptor Francisco Liza
began its restoration in 1992.
Francisco discovered an ancient painting
on the body of the Virgin.
