The Museum of History and Archaeology of Silla
The Museum of History and Archaeology of Silla (MARS) showcases the most important objects and findings from archaeological excavations of the Roman villas at Plaza del Poble, Mas de Baix, Font del Gat, and other medieval and modern sites.
MARS is designed as a living space, where in addition to a permanent collection, the aim is to convey an understanding of historical events. It is an educational and participatory space that promotes knowledge and awareness of cultural, historical, and archaeological heritage. It serves as a venue for guided tours for schools, workshops, cataloging and restoration practices, and the publication of materials, supporting the work of scholars and researchers.
