Church altar
–
The present main altarpiece is a replica of the original, from 1765 (after the earthquake of 1748), which was destroyed during the Civil War. In it we find a replica of the old sculpture of the Mare de Déu that was in the castle, given by the friars to the parish after the earthquake. The goldsmithery that accompanies the Virgin dates from the 18th and 19th centuries. This altar, with its rich iconography and detailed craftsmanship, reflects the religious devotion of the community and the splendour of art in the region.
