Toy horseĀ
Stone cardboard horse painted in green tones, with the red mounting chair on wooden platform with bearings. These toys were made with paper and used cardboard that was crushed mixed with water. The resulting paste was tamised and pressed in separate folds for a mirror. Later they were placed in moulds by layers stuck with grut. Once orated, they were extracted from the mould to dry and finally the two halves were joined, painted and added the wooden platform with bearings. The final touch was the straps and backs of different materials. At the beginning of the 20th century most of the children of the region played street games, in groups and, in general, they manufactured their own toys using their imagination and natural elements or old objects that transformed into all kinds of toys. However, there was a toy market that was accessed by children from wealthy classes, who, with industrialization, expanded the variety of products and consumers.
