Capacity measures
Once harvests were harvested. In the first half of the 20th century, in spite of the implementation of the decimal metric system, some of the old measures, such as celemin, persisted. The standardization of measurements and the fixing of patterns was for centuries a general concern, since in different territories the same measure varied in its metric. Little by little, the new measures were imposed on the old ones, and in many cases they did so by adapting the old accessories to measure. The figure of the meter was important in the transactions between farmers, the place was auctioned and the meter moved to the homes of the farmers to ensure a fair sale. In the markets, it was sold in bulk, and capacity measurements such as celemin or middle or quartet were used.
