La Creueta Trail
La Creueta is an emblematic hill of the town, located at 430 metres of altitude on the Pinar mountain. It is an excellent viewpoint from which to enjoy wide, panoramic views of the town and the surrounding region. Along the route, we cross two distinct environments: the pine forest and the recovering shrubland, where we can compare the previous state of vegetation and its evolution after the fire. For the people of Náquera, climbing La Creueta has always been a traditional excursion. The ascent begins along the path leading to the Hermitage. From there, we turn into San Francisco Street (first left). Shortly after entering, we turn right. We follow this track until the urbanised area ends.
At this point, we take the track to the right, continuing along it until a path appears on the left, leading us into the pine forest. Crossing it, we reach a newly built track, which we follow gently uphill to its end, where we take the path on the right that leads us to La Creueta. The descent follows the track down to the Náquera ravine.
