Mayansian Classroom (18th century)

– The Count's Town –

This classroom has a name and a story.

Thanks to a positive report by Gregori Mayans,
King Carles III allowed basic schooling to be taught here.

Basic schooling means learning to read and write.

Imagine the children back then.
They sat here.
Maybe they wanted to run more than they wanted to write.

And think about this:
with just one classroom and a lot of curiosity,
the culture of a whole town began to grow.
