OJÉN SQUARE (ON THE A-355 ROAD)

The Ojén Viewpoint, located along the A-355 road between Marbella and Coín, is an extraordinary balcony overlooking the white village and the Mediterranean coast. At about 418 meters above sea level, it offers free parking and accessibility for all. From its stone walkway, visitors can enjoy panoramic views that stretch across the Marbella mountains, the Sierra Blanca, and, on clear days, the sea and the horizon of the Costa del Sol.

An information panel explains the mining history of the area, including mineral extraction and the presence of a mine cart with ancient stones. The site is often linked to the route of the Ibex Viewpoint (Mirador del Macho Montés) or the “Deer” (Corzo), referring to nearby hiking trails that lead to sculptures and natural viewpoints among pines, kermes oaks, and rich Mediterranean flora.
