Los Cárceles Viewpoint

The Los Cárceles Viewpoint, located in the municipal area of Villamalea, is a natural panoramic point from which the characteristic landscape of La Manchuela can be observed. Cárceles, which is a hamlet of Villamalea located on the banks of the Cabriel River, gives its name to this site, from which wide views can be obtained of the Cabriel River valley, the ravines that descend towards the river, and the extensive vineyards that surround the municipality. This enclave is an ideal place to enjoy the landscape, take photographs, and get to know the natural environment that defines the territory of Villamalea, whose municipal area is located within the Cabriel River Biosphere Reserve.
