Xàbia
Portitxol BayPortitxol Bay is bounded by Cap Prim to the north and Cap Negre to the south. The stretch of coast encompassed by the bay, together with the nearby Portitxol Island, is one of the most ecologically and scenically valuable places in Xàbia. Given the importance of the vegetation in this area, the Valencian Government established two flora micro-reserves in May 1999 at Cap Prim and the Portitxol (or Barraca) cove. From Barraca cove, the view is dominated by Portitxol Island, declared a Site of Cultural Interest in October 2018 for its heritage and scenic value.
