Montgó Natural Park

The Montgó Massif rises to a maximum height of 753 meters above sea level. Its east-west orientation and large limestone walls define its distinctive profile. Together with its proximity to the sea and its climate, this makes the Montgó area one of the most unique locations on the Levantine coast. The peculiar topography, with large cliffs and ravines, and the sharp contrast between the two slopes, creates a variety of habitats that harbor great natural wealth. Many relict species survive on Montgó, and its plant diversity is one of the richest in the western Mediterranean, with over 800 species.
